After you've paid for your vehicle, the auction yard will send the ownership documents to our office. The auction requires an average of 30 days to mail documentation to our office.
- Once we receive them, we'll reassign the ownership documents to you (put your name on it) and then mail them out to you by FedEx.
- As soon as the documents leave our office, you will receive an email with your FedEx tracking number.
- Ownership documents will be sent to the mailing address you provide in your account.
To avoid delays in processing the ownership documentation, be sure to sign the “Purchasing Agreement” for this vehicle as soon as possible for each auction the buyer has won.
CA & FL ownership documents may take up to 90 days due to state regulations. Please review our articles for California and Florida residents.
Kansas to Kansas and Illinois to Illinois (Clean titles only) ownership documents will be mailed to the Tag Agency for proper processing and it may take up to 4 weeks (from the date the DMV receives it) for you to get it by mail.
Texas to Texas (boats only with Clean Title) ownership documents will be mailed to DMV and it normally takes up to 11 weeks for processing (from the date the DMV receives it).
