Can I ship my vehicle with no title?

Before you can export a vehicle from the United States, it must have the required documentation. Before you place a bid, check the Auction Title Code on the lot page to see what documents come with the vehicle.

Need help with your vehicle documents?

If a vehicle lacks a document required for export, AutoBidMaster can help you obtain the necessary documentation. Document processing fees typically range from $50 to $500, depending on the title or document type and what documentation is available for the vehicle.
On each lot page, we indicate the Auction Title Code and, where applicable, provide information about:

  • Whether additional documents may be required
  • The cost of obtaining or processing the document
  • The estimated processing time

For more information about title types and export eligibility, read our article Understanding Title Export Eligibility Indicators.

What about a lien?

Some vehicle titles may show a lien, which means a financial institution or lender has a recorded legal interest in the vehicle. A lien does not automatically mean that a vehicle cannot be exported. However, additional documentation or processing may be required before the vehicle can be cleared for export.
We can confirm the export requirements once we receive the vehicle title. After the vehicle arrives at our loading facility, our team will review the title and let you know whether any additional documents or processing are needed.
Before you bid: If you are unsure whether a vehicle can be exported, contact the AutoBidMaster team before purchasing it. We can review the vehicle and its available documentation and help you understand what may be required for export.
