Total Loss Coverage - covers the fair market value of your vehicle, as of the day of the loss due to fire damage, collision, overturning, or other incidents during towing resulting in total loss. Reimbursement is provided as credit on AutoBidMaster account and can be used toward the next purchases or services.
Conditions:
- Coverage After Payment: Adding or modifying coverage is not possible once the vehicle payment is complete.
- Credit Limit: The coverage credit cannot exceed the final auction bid.
- Coverage options are designed to provide you with peace of mind and enhanced protection for your international vehicle shipping orders.
Timeline for Filing a Claim
Upon receiving your vehicle, adhere to this timeline to process any damage claims insured by our coverage:
- Report any damages by email within 1 week of delivery, including photos from delivery, your lot number.
- Claims submitted will receive an assessment within up to 5 days.
- Reimbursement is provided as credit on AutoBidMaster account and can be used toward the next purchases or services.
Please note that reimbursement is based on the actual condition of the part at the time of damage. Since vehicle parts are used, reimbursement reflects the used value only and does not include installation, labor, maintenance, or the cost of new parts.
Damages excluded from coverage
It’s important to know that light scratches from transit, undercarriage damage due to previous incidents or forklift use, and damaged windshields or other glass parts are considered normal and excluded from coverage. Damage arising from weather, any spills, and marks from straps used during transport are common and are excluded from coverage. Parts of the vehicle that were damaged previously, already damaged at the time of receiving, or loose parts that may be lost during transit aren’t eligible for coverage or replacement.
